In 2024, our Early Childhood Education Centers provided a nurturing and engaging space for 3-K and Pre-K learners—led by NYC DOE-certified teachers and full of activities designed to support the little learner’s social, emotional, and physical development. It was a year of growth—from cooking and yoga to soccer and Spanish classes—for both the kids and the wonderful team behind them. The Prospect Family Residence serves 88 families and approximately 90 children on any given day.

Prospect Early Childhood Education Center
PFR offers Early Learn and UPK programs for children born in 2020 and 2021 and is staffed with Certified Teachers, licensed by the NYC Department of Education. There are free and low-cost options.
Children and youth enrolled in Prospect’s afterschool and recreation program are proud Prospect Panthers. The program offers field trips, dance, nutritious meals, and tutoring.
Families access a wide range of support services at PFR from a team of Housing Specialists, Employment Specialists, Case Managers, and Client Care Coordinators. Access to on-site substance use treatment services through Camelot is also available.
