HFH’s Early Childhood Education Centers provide high-quality childcare and programming for our youngest learners, helping children build the academic, social, and emotional skills that support future success in school.
Access to early childhood education is critical for all children. Residents and families from the surrounding community can enroll in NYC Department of Education 3-K and 4-K programs for eligible children born in 2022 and 2023. Our full-day programs are overseen by certified program directors and supported by experienced early childhood education staff who create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Each day includes breakfast, hot lunch, and snacks, along with activities that support early literacy, hands-on learning, creativity, and active play. Programming may include music, yoga, soccer, and other enrichment activities designed to help children explore, grow, and thrive.

HFH provides more than just shelter to families experiencing homelessness in NYC.
Through on-site programs in education, family support, workforce development, recreation, and more, we work alongside families as they pursue permanent housing and long-term stability.
Many of our programs are also available to members of the surrounding community.
