The Prospect Panthers recently welcomed Mr. Jay Fray of @drizzleweather for an engaging lesson on meteorology. The kids shared their favorite types of weather, learned about the layers of Earth`s atmosphere, discovered that clouds form in the troposphere, and explored different cloud types.
To bring the science to life, students created their own cloud parfaits, using graham crackers, marshmallows, whipped cream, and blue icing to represent different layers of the atmosphere. This hands-on activity helped them visualize how our atmosphere is structured and where clouds form. A sweet treat and a sweet lesson in weather science! 🌦️

Williamsbridge Family Residence
WFR serves 88 families with approximately 72 children on any given day.
Williamsbridge Recreation
Recreation programming offered at Williamsbridge is provided on-site to families who reside at the residence. Recreation offers families a welcoming place to connect and participate in activities for the entire family. From carnivals and back-to-school events to photography and cooking classes, they spend time outside their rooms and engage with one another and other families.
Williamsbridge Family Services
Williamsbridge has a dedicated Family Services team who guides residents in creating an individualized plan to move on to permanent housing. This support is provided by Case Managers who work one-on-one with each family, Client Care Coordinators (social workers) who provide more specialized assistance, trainings, and referrals, and Housing Specialists who focus on housing needs—from apartment referrals to voucher application assistance.
