HFH’s research and policy work is geared toward the usefulness to HFH field-based staff—from informing the need for new programs to better understanding trends within one shelter location or across sites. It is tied to HFH’s core mission of serving families with children who reside in shelters.

You can find HFH’s latest policy work in the What’s New section of our website and/or posted or disseminated through our affiliated organization, the Institute for Children, Poverty, and Homelessness (ICPH).
