The kids in Prospect Afterschool recently got a taste of #HispanicHeritageMonth by making their own empanadas! 🥟
Empanadas are enjoyed across Latin America, with different countries and regions putting their own spin on the fillings, dough, and preparation. During the activity, kids practiced their cooking skills while learning about the food traditions that are part of Hispanic and Latino cultures.
