Prospect Afterschool celebrated #DrSeussDay and #NationalReadingMonth with a reading of Bartholomew and the Oobleck.📚
After story time, students built their reading comprehension skills by discussing the plot, characters, and how Bartholomew solved the problem facing his kingdom.
They then brought the story to life by making their own “oobleck” using cornstarch, water, and food coloring—observing how different ratios of ingredients changed the texture of their slime.🦠🧪
