The Saratoga Afterschool & Recreation program is open to Saratoga residents and the surrounding community, serving children ages 5 to 16 in a fun, safe, and enriching environment where participants can build academic confidence, develop friendships, and feel a strong sense of belonging.

With the Saratoga Bears as their mascot, children participate in a program that is open Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and offers homework help, sports, leadership activities, and field trips tailored to their interests.

A typical afternoon begins with time to unwind after school, enjoy a snack, play games, color, or connect with teachers and friends. Students then participate in homework time, enrichment activities, and family-style dinner before dismissal.

Sample activities include running class, music class, dance and movement, social-emotional learning, one-on-one tutoring, STEAM lessons, outdoor play, and arts and crafts.
