Last year, we asked HFH staff about the issues they hoped to learn more about – from gender-based violence to immigration law services – in order to best serve the individualized needs of their clients. Those conversations led directly to our 2019 Resource Fair, where local organizations stopped by HFH Family Residences to share their expertise with HFH staff members.

This month, Prospect Family Residence reinforced last year’s commitment to strengthening our staff’s connections with local organizations through its 2020 Resource Fair. Staff had the opportunity to speak with representatives from eight different community organizations serving the diverse needs of their populations: The Bridge, Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, Sanctuary for Families, the Center for Independence of the Disabled, the Urban Resource Institute (URI), the NYC Department for the Aging, ThriveNYC, and the African Services Committee.
