The Museum of the City of New York, in partnership with DHS, hosted a group from Saratoga’s recreation program for a special Earth Day event.

The children were given access to the museum’s Future City Lab, where they were able to use interactive digital tools to build their own vision of a city park. They also engaged in hands-on projects, like planting flowers.

They came away with a greater appreciation for nature, and a better understanding of the impact environmental change has on their own communities.
