In a recent Pastry Arts course at Allie’s Place Center for Culinary Education & Employment, students learned that baking is both a science and an art. Students mastered precise measuring techniques and tackled everything from cinnamon roll dough to cake decorating with Chef Jayda—including practicing their piping skills and watching a cake demo that covered layering and frosting techniques.🍰
