About Allie’s Place Center for Culinary Education & Employment

Allie’s Place Center for Culinary Education & Employment is an employment training and placement center designed to prepare adult students for employment in a variety of food industry settings, including commercial and institutional kitchens, restaurants, cafes, and cafeterias. Currently, the Center is enrolling students who are experiencing homelessness and reside in one of Homes for the Homeless’ four family residences.

If you are interested in pursuing a career in the food industry and are able to commit to a short, intensive five-day training program that will provide the basics in knife skills, professional kitchen sanitation, and other essential skills to prepare for a job, please express your interest in registering for our next free, co-hort. We specialize in small classes with individualized attention in both the hands-on culinary training and job placement process.
