This Thanksgiving season, HFH Family Residences found creative ways to celebrate and gobble up some quality time together. Afterschool and Early Ed programs marked the holiday with everything from crafts to cooking—and plenty of gratitude.
At Saratoga Early Ed, the littlest learners kicked things off with a festive “Cooking Up Gratitude” celebration. Parents joined their children for a hands-on lunch activity where they rolled stuffing balls, practiced basic kitchen skills, and shared what they were thankful for. The room buzzed with laughter and chatter, and an end-of-party dance session had everyone moving.
At Allie’s Place, the Gators celebrated with a Thanksgiving feast alongside friends, shared gratitude shout-outs, and then turned the afternoon into a full-on party—complete with a dance-off, rounds of Uno, and build-your-own sticker turkeys.
The Prospect Panthers tapped into their creativity with vibrant turkey “dot art,” using colorful paint to make masterpieces while chatting about the people and moments they appreciate most.
Saratoga Afterschool marked the holiday with a twist, taking on the challenge of creating “Turkeys in Disguise.” Their imaginative creations ranged from superheroes to a Darth Vader turkey.
At Williamsbridge, families gathered for a lively Thanksgiving celebration in their decked-out recreation space—transformed for the holiday by the rec team. The party included honoring November birthdays, creating turkey-themed art (including colorable tablecloths), and enjoying quality time with friends and loved ones.
