Every day we receive requests about how you can get involved to help the families we serve. We encourage you to take a look at the seasonal Wish Lists of items that supplement the services we provide. For students enrolled in our Center for Culinary Education & Employment, that includes items that will help them while they study, look for a job, and beyond.
If you would like to organize a drive in your office, school, or community to benefit the parents enrolled in our Culinary program, and their families, please look at our Wish Lists and reach out to GetInvolved@HFHnyc.org.
For the Adult Students During Training
- Aprons
- Backpacks/Bookbags
- Baseball caps
- Chef Pants (This can be basic black pants. No leggings.) All sizes or email for specifics
- Slip Resistant shoes (Known as "kitchen shoes".) All sizes or email for specifics

Since joining HFH in August 2024, Antione has become a valued team member, known for his reliability, positivity, and commitment. A key part of his role includes driving housing specialists and residents to apartment viewings, lease signings, and key pickups—critical steps on a family’s path out of shelter.
