A child’s early life experiences have profound impressions on the course of their lives. The struggles that homeless children face in the classroom are well known. Early Childhood Education is a featured program of our Community Resource Residential Centers and offers young children the chance to develop their decision-making skills, enhance their sense of control, and build relationships with each other and with teaching staff. Literacy Specialists help students develop pre-literacy skills and build a solid foundation for reading and writing.
We operate both early childhood education and day care programs, including EarlyLearn and Universal Pre-Kindergarten, so that children who are temporarily living in our Centers have the best chance of success in school.
