10,000 homeless families and 15,000 children live in New York City's shelter system, and up to 100 new families apply for shelter each day.

Since 1986, HFH has served over 18 million meals to New York City homeless families.

2,500 families join Homes for the Homeless' community of opportunity each year.

Half of the children at the American Family Inns are under the age of six.

Each day, HFH provides early childhood education and on-site childcare to over 100 young homeless children.

HFH provides homework help to nearly 125 children each weeknight.
