HFH Speaks at the Georgia Coalition to End Homelessness Policy Academy
On May 16, 2005, Karina Kwok, Executive Associate of Homes for the
Homeless, participated in a panel titled "Housing Strategies and
Training and Technical Assistance for the Development of Quality
Programs" at the Georgia Coalition to End Homelessness Statewide Policy
Academy in Savannah, GA. The objective of the panel was to open
discussion about transitional housing, supportive housing, and funding
strategies as well as seek a shared vision regarding Georgia's
statewide strategy to end homelessness. Other panelists included Diane
McCants of Metro Atlanta United Way; Doug Scott, Nonprofit and Special
Programs Manager at the Georgia Department of Community Affairs; and
Nancy McGraw, Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Corporation for
Supportive Housing.
