P.S. 119 students and Second Chance Toys team up to donate recycled toys to Saratoga Family Inn

On Tuesday, April 14, fifth graders from P.S. 119-Amersfort School of Global and Ethical Studies in Brooklyn visited The Saratoga Family Inn to donate recycled plastic toys to children in the day care program. The toy drive was organized by the New York City chapter of Second Chance Toys, a national organization that recycles plastic toys for needy children. During the event, which was covered in the the New York Daily News, the fifth graders presented their toys to the children and read their own personal "toy stories."
